George Sutcliffe knocked over two seconds off his best with 1:54.41, while Eddie Hunter smashed through the 1:50 barrier with 1:48.58.
Other notable performances from Birmingham and Trafford included a season’s best 1500 for Rachel Friend (4:33.18) and good runs from Josh Dickinson (3:47.21), Robert Torch (400.65), Jonathan Stewart (4:08.14) and Rory Bradford (800 in 1:58.26).
