Leeds City AC is one of the region’s leading athletics clubs, with over 400 members competing from Under-11s through to Veterans. Our athletes take part in track & field, cross country, road, fell, and race walking events, alongside the inspiring Leeds Wheelchair Racing Team. We compete across top regional leagues and are supported by an experienced coaching team and dedicated volunteers who help every athlete reach their potential.

Hannah Cockroft MBE
A Prolific member of Team GB with a multitude of medals & world records
Hannah is both Great Britain’s most successful and one of the world’s most well-known para-athletes.
Dominating T34 wheelchair racing from 100 to 800 metres for more than a decade, winning seven Paralympic gold medals and appearing on popular TV shows!

Matejus Varnelis
Rising multi-events star Matejus Varnelis!
Matejus Varnelis produced a superb performance this weekend to become the Lithuanian U20 Decathlon Champion, confirming his status as one of the most exciting young athletes around. Competing across the demanding ten-discipline event, Matejus showed incredible consistency, athleticism and determination to take the title against strong competition.
